House Churches

Where you are known, taught and sent.

Sunday is where the whole family gathers. House Church is where church gets personal: a meal, the Word, prayer for one another and a push to live on mission, every week, in homes across Bromley.

A House Church round a table
An evening at House Church

Simple enough to happen every week.

MealWe eat together first. Hospitality is not an add-on, it is how friendship starts.
WordWe open the Bible, usually the passage preached on Sunday, with questions from the sermon page.
PrayerFor each other, honestly, and for the people we are praying to reach.
MissionWho is your One this month? What is the next step, together?
Why homes

Because that is where the first church met.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42. Then, a few verses later: “They broke bread in their homes.” A room of a dozen people can do things a hall of a hundred cannot: notice when someone is missing, carry a burden, raise up a leader.

Led by a ShepherdEvery House Church is led by a Shepherd who has been through House Church Shepherd Training and is DBS-checked.
Midweek, weeklyDifferent evenings in different homes, so there is one that fits your week and your part of Bromley.
Open to anyoneYou do not need to have been at Vision long, or be sure what you believe. Come and eat.
Vision 2027

Ten House Churches by the end of 2027.

Our first goal for Vision 2027 is that every member is in a House Church, and that we plant enough new ones to make room. If God might be calling you to shepherd one, the training is on the Leadership Development page.
