Vision ChurchWhat we believe
Word and Spirit, together.
Vision Church is part of Assemblies of God GB, and we share its statement of faith. In short: one God in three persons; the Bible as the inspired, authoritative Word of God; Jesus, fully God and fully man, crucified and risen, the only way to the Father; salvation by grace through faith; the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit for the church today; believers' baptism; the Church as Christ's body on mission; and the return of Jesus.
What this looks like
Belief that shows on a Sunday and in a home
The Bible, preachedWe preach through books of the Bible, passage by passage, because all of it is God's Word.
The Spirit, welcomedWe pray for people, expect God to speak and heal, and make room for the gifts of the Spirit, in order and in love.
Communion and baptismCommunion every Sunday. Baptism by full immersion for anyone who has decided to follow Jesus.
Every member a disciple makerFaith is not spectated. Each of us is called to make disciples where we live and work.
GenerosityWe give because God first gave to us, cheerfully and in proportion to what we have.
Questions welcomeDoubt is not a problem to hide. Bring your question to Ask Vision Church or to Alpha.
Got a question about what we believe, or why? Send it in and we will answer it, often on camera on Ask Vision Church.
