Treasuring God Above All: Finding True Delight in His Blessings

In Psalm 16, David proclaims God as his treasure, declaring, "The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot." Through David's example, we are reminded of the importance of treasuring God above all else, acknowledging that all good things come from Him. While we may enjoy blessings in our lives, it is crucial to recognize that they point to a good and gracious God who is the source of all goodness.

David's words reflect a profound understanding that God is the ultimate treasure, surpassing material possessions, relationships, and achievements. He delights in the saints in the land but does not elevate them above God.
